Libra Full Moon: April 16th, 2022
Healing ArtsHello to the sweet Libra full moon and hello to you, too! This full moon is also known as the Pink Moon and the Old Farmer´s Moon to some American Indians. The April full moon corresponds with early springtime blossoms… wildflowers galore in some parts of North America for example! It is a beautiful time of year full of life, newness, and rebirth. This Pink full moon will be in the beautiful Libra and will take place on Saturday, April 16th of 2022.
Very Libra, very pretty. Libra energy has such an eye for beauty! The Libra energy is all about harmony. I talk about the Libra vision a lot and I study Libra energy so much within my journey with esoteric astrology. And, at the end of the day (although they may have a lot of growing pains along the way) it truly is all about harmony. Harmony, however, starts within and with ourselves, and from that place, we can experience harmony in all realms of life! It is okay to have supportive people to lean on along the way – those who help us grow are so valuable – however, the inner job of the Libra is to come back to the self as the relationship with others is a way of life for them and can neglect the relationship with self.
… come back to self little Libras, always. Sigh, and there we are, amazing as ever.
Able to listen within in order to truly listen to others effectively. And, by being effective, they really hope to be very diplomatic and well-informed. Up to date on everything. Can we try to see eye to eye by understanding each other better? The world we live in and grow up in, our race, oppressions, adversity, culture, education, and so much more. The Libra wants to do a good job listening carefully to all these details to better understand. If we still can not join forces, the Libra is a peacemaker in that sometimes we need to give resources to the other and admit that we might not be able to help them or understand, but we can always make a safe decision to respect each other´s space and wish them well on their path in life. Libra is air… it is the breath. Air is the element of the heart.
Libra is opposing the Sun on this full moon, the Sun is in Aries (fire). An Aries Sun might feel uncomfortable with all this lovey air in the air as Aries can appreciate it, but might feel like we are not really getting anywhere and this shows up in our personality with the Sun. The Aries energy in us is like… ¨Where is the resolution?¨ or… simply not feeling like we reached our goal with something. And, the Aries might find it difficult to be okay with no resolution or one that is more neutral for now. Aries want to push forward and get people to work together and put forth more effort. Aries might need to slow down and tend to our ego and give it some love.
WORD FOR THIS FULL MOON:
HARMONY.
MANTRA FOR THIS FULL MOON:
I am trying hard enough, Libra help me to breath, harmony cannot be forced
Let´s go over some of the other planets. I use an old painting of mine for these very vague depictions of the full moon and other plants (general placements) just to give readers a better idea of the planets and where they are hanging out generally speaking. Super cute little stallium to the right of the sun with Mercury and Uranus both in Taurus as well of true Node (North) right next to Uranus (not pictured above). Mercury in Taurus ruling the mind can help us think more slowly about this full moon. We might feel like we are holding dear some friendships during this time, or basking a little more in some earthy comforts that our mind (Mercury) gives us permission. The Taurus True Node is also working the same way in a sense, too, just like the last full moon. I feel like the pattern over the past two months has been very Taurus heavy in that we are leaning on this energy for support (even though it might not show up super obviously, it is there and strong!) The Uranus in Taurus there also is working in harmony with the Taurus energy in both Mercury and True Node in that it is helping our schedules to be flexible enough with time. Phew! Thanks, Uranus, for an alien planet like you… you are very grounding in this stallium in Taurus even though Taurus is rather foreign to you – you make it work and I can always count on Uranus for that, always thinking outside of the box or norm to make things happen. Nice.
Slow down and smell the roses!
The stallium to the left of the sun is technically only Jupiter and Neptune, however the other 3 plants you see there are pretty darn close, too! Jupiter and Neptune are literally on top of each other though, so let´s give them credit. They are a powerful force to be reckoned with in Piscis. Jupiter and Neptune in Piscis are very dreamy. Let us all keep dreaming and making magic (Jupiter) to heal the world, and Neptune agrees to support our subconscious in dreamy ways to organize and process all these wonderful dreams. I know this full moon, I really valued someone listening to my dreams and telling me they loved my dreams. It was so sweet to hear someone say that and give me the heartfelt advice that I needed at that time literally sleep on it and keep dreaming and getting more clear with my dreams. It is so important to support each other´s dreams. It is normal to feel discouraged and unclear at times swimming around in those dreamy waters can be very lovely – and we also need to remember not to get lost there. Those planets are healthy in a strong little stallium, but they truly are right on top of each other and I am feeling a little claustrophobic with my dreams this full moon! Interesting.
Okay, breathe, and keep on swimming. Onto Venus and Mars – both are in Piscis as well. Interesting combination! More watery dreamy-ness and love here. Dreaming things up with those we hold close – those who love us and will not be so critical but nurture us. I love a Piscis Mars because that is where my personal Mars feels the best. Love songs, poems, painting, expressive… dance.
And, lastly, we have Saturn in Aquarius. We have had a lot of Aquarius energy lately and I was wondering where it went this full moon, but there she is hiding out in Saturn. Just like the last full moon, Saturn in Aquarius – there is a familiar feel again this time around the sun. Showing up to our work with an open mind. Showing up for ourselves and our own needs with an open mind. I think this Saturn in Aquarius is solidifying that we truly must master our own needs each day as best we can and sometimes in creative ways and Aquarius is still helping us understand that. Saturn wants us to be our best selves for the world so we can live out our dharma or purpose.
A few highlights/tips for this full moon that might help support you:
☾☽ Remember the True Node in Taurus again this full moon and how it can support us so much. It is all in the little things. What earthly pleasure is on your mind or heart as we near the full moon that you have really wanted to savor and enjoy this time around? I recently just got some flowers and I love the smell and joy they bring to me. I walked into my home and was hit with the smell and smiled.
☾☽ Dream yourself into reality. Again, very similar to the last full moon, but has a mental (Mercury) component. Trust that our minds and subconscious are working as a team together. No need to stress as we have a lot of support here.
☾☽ Keep prioritizing quality sleep and hydration. I would also add exercise given the Aries Sun, but you may feel like conserving energy, too. Your body knows the answer.
☾☽ Give your ego some love with the Aries Sun. Give yourself a hug and tell yourself that you are doing a good job! It is so easy to just keep going with the Aries energy but to pause and give yourself some acknowledgment really goes a long way and is so worth it. A little love truly goes a long way.
